For a long period of history, wine production was bread to generations. The tradition dates from the Greek times, as the Greek chronicler, Agarthid from Knid wrote about plavac mali, famous red sort, in 300 BC: "compared to all others, it is the best wine". Nowadays, it has become only an enthusiasm of the true lovers of the tradition. Thanks to them, we can still taste the rich tradition of Vis soil, the fruity-honey flavoured white – vugava and the rich-savoury red – plavac mali. We have chosen to present the two names, for their outstanding quality and locations that have stories of their own - a cave that was once an army installation during the time of Tito and a romantic estate in the middle of the fields.You will be served with some finger food and selection of best wines and aromatised liquors, also produced from grapes, so called "rakija". Definitely a merry tour!
